With this document the Data Controller provides the users of the website with the following information regarding the cookies used.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that the websites visited by the user send to his/her browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, etc.), where they are stored until they are sent back to the same websites during the next visit of the same user.

When browsing a website, the user can also receive cookies from different websites or web servers on his terminal (so-called “third-party” cookies); this happens because on the website visited there may be elements such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, social buttons (Facebook “Likes” etc.), specific links to web pages of other websites that reside on different servers. In other words, they are cookies that are sent by a website other than the one you are currently visiting.

Technical cookies are only used to “transmit a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user”.

Profiling cookies, on the other hand, are used to create user profiles and to send advertising messages matching the preferences expressed by the user as he/she browses the internet.

The website uses technical cookies, for which no consent is required from the data subject.

More specifically, the website also uses third-party analytics cookie, similar to technical cookies if appropriate tools are implemented to reduce their identifying power (e.g. by masking significant portions of the IP address) and if the contract between the website’s operator and the third party expressly includes the latter’s commitment either to use them exclusively for the provision of the service, or to store them separately and not to “enrich” them or “cross” them with other information they have.

In particular, the website uses the service of Google Analytics, which uses cookies to allow statistical analysis in an aggregate form on the use of the website visited.

To view the “Google Analytics terms of service” that also refer to the privacy policy of the company Google Inc., owner of the independent processing of data relating to the service Google Analytics, please refer to the following page
